Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. General Accounting & Bookkeeping

- Configure and maintain the Chart of Accounts tailored to business operations.
- Record standard and recurring manual journal entries, accruals, depreciation, and adjusting entries.
- Manage Accounts Payable (vendor bills, purchase orders, vendor credits) and Accounts Receivable (estimates, customer invoices, credit notes).
- Execute automated and manual multi-currency bank, credit card, and payment gateway reconciliations.

2. Workflow Automation & System Setup

- Set up custom transaction numbering, approval workflows, custom fields, and email templates.
- Automate recurring billing, payment reminders, and expense categorization rules.
- Integrate Zoho Books with relevant apps (e.g., Zoho CRM, Zoho Expense, Zoho Inventory, Zoho Payroll, Stripe, PayPal).

3. Tax, Statutory Compliance & Audits

- Handle indirect tax calculations, returns, and compliance (e.g., GST / VAT / Sales Tax, e-Invoicing, and e-Way bills as applicable).
- Oversee withholding taxes (TDS/TCS or 1099/W-9 where applicable) and coordinate period-end filings.
- Lock transactions at period-end to prevent unauthorized modifications and maintain a clean audit trail.





4. Financial Reporting & Month-End Closing

- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual book-closing processes.
- Generate core financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement).
- Prepare budget vs. actual reports, receivables/payables aging analyses, and inventory valuation summaries.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Software Expertise: Advanced hands-on proficiency in Zoho Books; familiarity with the broader Zoho Finance Suite (Zoho Expense, Zoho Payroll, Zoho Inventory) is a robust plus.
- Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance; Zoho Books Certification is preferred.
- Core Competencies: Strong grasp of standard accounting principles (IFRS / GAAP / local GAAP), taxation compliance, bank reconciliation, and cash flow forecasting.
- Analytical Skills: High attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and efficiency with data migration (CSV/Excel imports and exports).

Pay: ₹8,500.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
