Key ResponsibilitiesA. Production Planning & Execution

- Execute daily production plans as per the schedule provided by the Production Manager.
- Achieve daily production targets while maintaining required quality standards.
- Allocate work to operators and workers according to production requirements.
- Monitor production output, cycle time, machine utilization, and downtime.
- Ensure timely completion of production orders as per delivery commitments.

B. Quality Control

- Ensure products are manufactured according to approved drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Conduct routine in-process inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Minimize rejection, rework, and material wastage.
- Segregate rejected and non-conforming material and report it to the concerned department.
- Coordinate with the Quality Department to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

C. Manpower Management

- Allocate manpower effectively and monitor employee performance.
- Ensure proper attendance, discipline, punctuality, and productivity of workers.
- Provide on-the-job guidance and training to operators and current employees.
- Monitor employee efficiency and ensure optimum utilization of available manpower.

D. Machine & Material Management

- Ensure machines, tools, dies, and equipment are used properly.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Department for preventive maintenance and breakdown resolution.




- Ensure availability of raw materials, components, and consumables as per production requirements.
- Maintain proper identification, handling, and segregation of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Ensure material movement and production quantities are recorded accurately.

E. Safety, 5S & Compliance

- Ensure employees follow safety rules and use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain housekeeping, cleanliness, and 5S standards in the production area.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and applicable safety requirements.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, accidents, and near-miss incidents.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of scrap, waste, and hazardous materials wherever applicable.

F. Reporting & Documentation

- Prepare daily production reports, including target versus actual production.
- Maintain records of production output, rejection, downtime, manpower utilization, and material consumption.
- Report production delays, machine breakdowns, and quality issues to the Production Manager.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Planning departments.
- Support internal audits, process improvements, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
