Job Summary

We are looking for Service Engineers to handle installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support of industrial automation systems and Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, commission, and troubleshoot automation systems and SPMs at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, VFDs, servo drives, sensors, and control panels.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines and automation systems.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
- Conduct machine testing, commissioning, validation, and performance optimization.
- Read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control-panel layouts.
- Prepare service reports and technical documentation after site visits.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, and Sales teams for project and service requirements.
- Train customers on machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Handle service calls and ensure timely resolution.
- Identify requirements for spare parts, AMC,



upgrades, and system improvements.
- Follow company and customer safety procedures.

Required Skills

- PLC: Siemens, Delta, Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley, Omron, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of HMI, SCADA, VFD, Servo Drives, Sensors, and Instrumentation.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, and RS-485.
- Positive electrical troubleshooting and control-panel knowledge.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good customer-handling and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively to customer locations.

Qualification & Experience

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Automation, or related engineering field.
- 1–5 years of relevant experience in industrial automation or field service.
- 2–4 years of experience in Automation/SPM is preferred.
- Experience in machine automation, factory automation, or SPM commissioning will be an advantage.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge and willingness to travel may also be considered.
