Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Design Engineer with strong expertise in machining components, jigs, fixtures, and tooling design. The ideal candidate should be capable of developing accurate, cost-effective, and manufacturing-ready designs while ensuring machining feasibility, dimensional accuracy, and smooth coordination with production and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop machining components, jigs, fixtures, and tooling.

Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings, 3D models, GD&T; specifications, and tolerance details.

Ensure design feasibility and manufacturability for CNC, VMC, and HMC machining operations.

Interpret customer drawings and convert design requirements into manufacturing-ready solutions.

Identify and resolve design-related issues arising during production and machining.

Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Tool Room teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.

Optimize designs to improve machining accuracy, reduce manufacturing costs, and minimize cycle time.

Ensure compliance with engineering standards, dimensional requirements,



and quality specifications.

Mandatory Requirements

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: 5–8 years of relevant experience in machining design, tooling, jigs, and fixtures.

Machining Knowledge: Robust understanding of CNC, VMC, and HMC machining processes.

Design Skills: Hands-on experience in 2D drawings, 3D modelling, GD&T;, and tolerance analysis.

CAD Software: Proficiency in relevant mechanical design software.

Manufacturing Knowledge: Ability to understand customer drawings, assess design feasibility, and resolve shop-floor design issues.

Coordination Skills: Ability to work closely with Production, Quality, and Tool Room teams.
