We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Chennai and support children with special needs through individualised therapy and developmental intervention.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess children's sensory, motor, cognitive, and functional development.
- Develop and implement individualised therapy plans.
- Conduct occupational therapy sessions for children with special needs.
- Work on fine motor skills, gross motor skills, sensory integration, and activities of daily living (ADL).
- Monitor and document children's progress.
- Coordinate with special educators, speech therapists, physiotherapists, parents, and caregivers.
- Provide guidance to parents and caregivers on home-based activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy (BOT/MOT).
- Relevant experience in paediatric occupational therapy is preferred.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications may also apply.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with children with special needs.
