ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer with experience in industrial control panel design. The candidate should have good AutoCAD 2D skills, knowledge of electrical components, panel wiring, and the ability to independently manage multiple projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare electrical schematics, panel layouts, and GA/IGA drawings using AutoCAD 2D.
- Select electrical components and perform cable sizing.
- Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Understand PLC wiring and industrial control panel wiring.
- Support panel testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with production, project, procurement, and client teams.
- Independently manage multiple projects and routine follow-ups.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
- Maintain design quality and follow electrical safety standards.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 2–3 years of experience in industrial control panel electrical design.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Experience in electrical schematics, GA/IGA drawings, and panel layouts.
- Knowledge of switchgear selection, cable sizing, and electrical components.
- Basic knowledge of PLCs and control panel wiring.
- Positive communication, coordination, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently handle multiple projects without dependency on others for routine coordination.
