- 2-8 years' experience in API, Pharma, Chemical, or Process Industry maintenance.
Job Purpose
To ensure smooth operation, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment used in the API manufacturing plant while complying with GMP, safety, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities Preventive Maintenance
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance of plant machinery and utilities.
- Inspect equipment and identify potential mechanical failures.
- Maintain maintenance records and checklists.
- Attend equipment breakdowns and restore operations with minimum downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and perform repairs.
- Replace damaged parts and components.
- Maintenance of:
- Chillers
- Cooling towers
- Boilers
- HVAC systems
- Nitrogen and compressed air systems
Installation Activities
- Equipment erection and commissioning.
- Alignment of pumps and motors.
- Fabrication and piping modification work.
- Equipment shifting and installation.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow GMP, EHS, and SOP requirements.
- Use proper PPE during maintenance activities.
- Follow Permit to Work (PTW), LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out), and confined space procedures.
- Maintain housekeeping in work areas.
Required Skills
- Pump overhaul and alignment.
- Bearing replacement.
- Mechanical seal maintenance.
- Welding and fabrication knowledge.
- Pipe fitting and valve maintenance.
- Reading engineering drawings.
- Use of measuring instruments (Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Dial Gauge).
Pay: ₹9,200.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
