Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Fresh & Handmade Pasta Chef with expertise in authentic Italian cuisine. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience preparing fresh pasta from scratch, executing traditional Italian recipes, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality, consistency, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare fresh handmade pasta from scratch, including tagliatelle, fettuccine, ravioli, gnocchi, and other varieties.
- Prepare and execute authentic Italian pasta dishes using traditional techniques.
- Make fresh pasta dough using the correct ingredients, measurements, and preparation methods.
- Prepare classic Italian sauces, including Alfredo, Arrabbiata, Pesto, Pomodoro, and other signature sauces.
- Maintain consistency in taste, texture, portion size, and presentation.
- Operate pasta-making machines and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Manage daily mise en place, ingredient preparation, and kitchen stock.
- Follow FIFO, food labelling, storage, and food safety standards.
- Minimise food wastage and maintain proper inventory control.




- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the pasta section and kitchen equipment.
- Coordinate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Assist in developing recent pasta dishes, seasonal specials, and menu innovations.
- Ensure all dishes meet the restaurant's quality standards before serving.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Pasta Chef, Italian Chef, or Commis Chef specialising in pasta.
- Strong knowledge of fresh pasta preparation, shaping, filling, and cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of Italian ingredients, herbs, cheeses, olive oil, and pasta sauces.
- Ability to maintain quality and consistency during busy service hours.
- Understanding of food costing, portion control, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
- Passion for authentic Italian cuisine, creativity, and teamwork.

Pay: ₹24,200.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
