Role Overview:
We are looking for a results-driven and energetic Area Sales Executive to drive business growth, expand our retail/dealer network, and achieve primary and secondary sales targets in the Solapur region. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the local market dynamics, distributor management, and FMCG/retail sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Target Achievement: Drive primary and secondary sales targets for the assigned territory (Solapur and surrounding areas).
Channel & Distributor Management: Appoint, manage, and evaluate distributors and wholesalers to ensure optimal product availability and inventory management.
Retail Expansion: Expand the direct retail footprint by onboarding new outlets and maintaining strong relationships with key retailers.
Market Execution: Ensure timely execution of trade promotions, visibility campaigns, and product launches at the point of sale.




Team Leadership: Guide and monitor the performance of sales representatives or promoters if applicable in the region.
Competitor Tracking: Gather market intelligence regarding competitor pricing, schemes, and product launches, and report insights to management.
Reporting: Maintain daily sales reports, track KPIs, and manage collections and outstanding payments.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: 1 to 4 years of experience in field sales, channel sales, or distribution management (FMCG/Consumer Goods industry preferred).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Key Competencies:
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Deep familiarity with the Solapur market and local trade networks.
Ability to work independently and meet strict performance targets.
Proficiency in local language (Marathi) is mandatory.
