We are looking for a detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer / GA Draughtsman to take ownership of preparing accurate General Arrangement (GA) drawings, panel layouts, and fabrication details for electrical control and power distribution panels. The ideal candidate has solid hands-on experience in AutoCAD Electrical, practical knowledge of switchgear components, and an understanding of busbar routing and panel clearances.

Key Responsibilities:

- General Arrangement (GA) Drawings: Prepare detailed front view, internal layout, sectional views, foundation details, and gland plate drawings for LT/HT panels, PCC, MCC, and APFC panels.
- Layout & Clearance Detailing: Plan optimal component placement, cable entry/exit points, busbar routing, and phase-to-phase / phase-to-earth clearances according to standard clearance rules.
- SLD & Schematic Verification: Review Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and electrical schematics to ensure the physical GA layout accurately matches electrical requirements.
- Bill of Materials (BOM): Generate and verify comprehensive BOMs/MTOs including enclosures, switchgear (switch-disconnectors, MCCBs, MCBs, contactors, relays), and hardware accessories.
- Compliance & Standards:



Ensure designs comply with relevant Indian and international standards (IS/IEC 61439, IP protection degrees, and IS enclosure guidelines).
- Fabrication & Shop Coordination: Incorporate revision markups, assist the fabrication and assembly teams during manufacturing, and resolve layout interference or clash issues.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- Education: Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Experience: 2 to 5+ years of experience specifically in Electrical Control Panel design and GA drafting.
- CAD Tools: High proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical (experience with EPLAN Pro Panel or SolidWorks Electrical is a strong plus).
- Technical Knowledge:
- Solid understanding of switchgear products from major vendors (Schneider, ABB, Siemens, L&T;).
- Understanding of busbar sizing (copper/aluminum), current densities, and thermal/ventilation considerations in panel enclosures.
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication gauges and modular enclosure assembly.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
