1. Job Summary

Sabari Engineering Co. is seeking an experienced and responsible Shuttering Foreman to supervise and manage shuttering and formwork activities at construction sites. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper execution of formwork, maintaining quality and safety standards, managing site labour, and completing assigned work within the project schedule.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day shuttering, centering, and formwork activities at the construction site.
- Read and interpret structural drawings, shuttering layouts, and site instructions.
- Ensure proper alignment, leveling, dimensions, and positioning of formwork before concrete pouring.
- Allocate work to shuttering carpenters, helpers, and other site workers.
- Monitor the installation, fixing, supporting, and removal of shuttering materials.
- Ensure formwork is properly secured and checked before concrete pouring.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Supervisors, and other construction teams.
- Monitor labour productivity, material utilization, and daily work progress.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, reuse, and maintenance of shuttering materials to minimize wastage.
- Identify and resolve site-level shuttering issues in coordination with the Site Engineer.
- Follow construction quality standards, project specifications, and site safety procedures.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned work as per the project schedule.
- Report daily work progress, delays, material shortages, and site requirements to the concerned engineer.





3. Educational Qualification

- Candidates with strong practical experience in construction shuttering and formwork may also be considered.

4. Required Experience and Skills

- Minimum 5 years of experience in shuttering and formwork activities in building construction projects.
- Practical knowledge of RCC building construction, including slabs, beams, columns, and walls.
- Ability to understand structural drawings and execute work as per site requirements.
- Experience in labour management and coordination with site engineers.
- Knowledge of conventional shuttering systems; experience in Mivan / aluminium formwork will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of construction quality, site safety, and work sequencing.
- Ability to manage site activities efficiently and meet project deadlines.
