ENGINEER / SENIOR ENGINEER – PROCUREMENT

Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead strategic sourcing and procurement activities within the IT Services sector. This pivotal role is responsible for managing the end-to-end acquisition of critical engineering components, ensuring cost efficiency, and fostering robust supplier relationships. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in optimizing supply chain operations, driving vendor development initiatives, and securing high-value assets essential for project delivery. With a focus on technical accuracy and financial prudence, this position demands an individual capable of navigating complex procurement landscapes while maintaining strict compliance with organizational standards.
Responsibilities

- Execute strategic sourcing for bought-out components, assemblies, and Class A high-value items to ensure uninterrupted project flow.

- Leverage expertise in hydraulic components and engineering documentation to validate specifications and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy.

- Conduct rigorous cost analysis and lead complex negotiation strategies to achieve optimal pricing and favorable contract terms.

- Monitor and enhance supplier performance through continuous evaluation, feedback loops, and targeted development programs.





- Utilize ERP systems to streamline procurement workflows, maintain data integrity, and generate actionable insights for decision-making.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with broader engineering and business objectives.

- Manage the full lifecycle of vendor relationships, from initial qualification to ongoing performance management and risk mitigation.

RequirementsRequirements:

- Possess a minimum of 6+ years of specialized experience in engineering procurement within the IT Services industry.

- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling.

- Show proven expertise in managing ERP systems specifically for procurement and supply chain operations.

- Possess in-depth technical knowledge of hydraulic components, engineering drawings, and BOM structures.

- Exhibit a robust track record in supplier performance management, vendor development, and relationship building.

- Display exceptional skills in cost engineering, negotiation tactics, and the procurement of high-value assets.

- Ability to effectively manage bought-out components and complex assemblies within a fast-paced environment.
