Job Description – General Manager

Company: Alans Jersey Factory
Location: Kottakkal, Malappuram
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible General Manager to oversee and manage the overall operations of Alans Jersey Factory, with a primary focus on production management, productivity, quality control, and timely order delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise daily production activities and workflow.
- Plan and schedule production according to customer orders and delivery deadlines.
- Coordinate with Design, Printing, Fusing, Stitching, Finishing, and Dispatch departments.
- Monitor production targets, employee performance, and overall productivity.
- Ensure product quality and minimize production errors, wastage, and delays.
- Allocate manpower and machinery efficiently to meet production requirements.
- Track order progress and ensure timely completion and delivery.
- Identify production issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain discipline, attendance, and work efficiency among production staff.




- Monitor raw materials, fabric, accessories, and other production requirements.
- Prepare daily production reports and update management on performance and pending orders.
- Coordinate with the Sales and Accounts teams regarding order priorities, delivery commitments, and production costs.
- Take responsibility for improving production efficiency and achieving company goals.

Requirements

- Previous experience in production management or factory operations is preferred.
- Robust leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of production planning, workflow management, and quality control.
- Ability to manage employees, meet deadlines, and handle multiple orders.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to take responsibility and make effective decisions.
