Job Overview

We are looking for a practical, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day construction activities on-site. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between design blueprints and execution, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule, within quality standards, and strictly adhering to safety norms.

Key Responsibilities

- Site Execution & Monitoring: Supervise daily construction work on-site, ensuring execution strictly complies with architectural drawings, structural designs, and engineering specifications.
- Labour & Contractor Management: Assign daily tasks to masons, barbenders, carpenters, and helpers, and monitor their output and productivity on-site.
- Material Management: Keep track of construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, bricks, etc.) delivered to the site, verify quantities, and maintain proper inventory logs to prevent wastage.
- Quality & Safety Control: Check reinforcement work, shuttering, concrete pouring, curing, and brickwork quality. Ensure all workers wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a safe working environment.
- Progress Reporting: Maintain site logbooks, record daily progress, and report material usage, labour attendance,



and site bottlenecks directly to the Project Manager or Civil Engineer.
- Client & Vendor Coordination: Coordinate smoothly with local vendors, transport providers, and visiting consultants or clients when required.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

- Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on site execution experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure construction projects.
- Mandatory Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of surveying, bar bending schedules (BBS), concrete mix designs, and shuttering work.
- Ability to read and interpret civil blueprints, structural drawings, and CAD layouts accurately.
- Firm leadership qualities to manage on-site workforces with patience and firmness.
- Positive working knowledge of local languages (e.g., Malayalam/Tamil depending on placement) and basic English.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel or be stationed at active construction sites. Two-wheeler driving license is preferred.
