Maniac Sportz & Fitness Pvt. Ltd. runs Maniac Sports Arena in Vile Parle West - 12 covered pickleball courts under one roof, one of the largest indoor pickleball venues in Mumbai - along with turf and pickleball facilities across the western suburbs and Thane. Three more facilities are coming up in Indore and three in Bangalore.

We are looking for an Accountant to take full charge of our books.

This is the only accounts person in the business. You will own the books end to end rather than handle one function inside a larger team, and you will be the person the Directors come to for a number.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Day-to-day accounting in Tally - sales, purchases, receipts, payments and journals

Raising invoices for court bookings, corporate events, tournaments, academy fees and sponsorships, and following up on receivables

Daily collection reconciliation across cash, UPI, card and online bookings

Monthly settlement reconciliation from booking platforms, including commission and TDS deductions

Bank reconciliation across all accounts

GST - data compilation, GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B filing, input credit tracking, GSTR-2B reconciliation

TDS - deduction, deposit and quarterly returns

Vendor management - bills, payment schedules, ledger confirmations, advances

Payroll support - attendance to salary working, PF / ESIC and skilled tax inputs





Petty cash and expense control across venues

Month-end close - closing entries, revenue by venue and by slot, expense summary and a simple P&L;

Coordination with our CA for audit, ITR and statutory filings

Fixed asset records for courts, equipment and venue infrastructure

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

B.Com or M.Com. CA Inter / CMA Inter is a plus, not a requirement

3 to 4 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably handling books independently

Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime

Practical GST and TDS experience - you have filed returns yourself, not only prepared data

Comfortable in Excel - VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliation sheets

Accurate, organised, and able to close the month without being chased

Experience in sports, hospitality, F&B;, retail or any multi-venue cash business is an advantage

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
