Role Summary

The Export Executive manages the company’s international business for electrical fans, changeover switches, and modular and industrial switches. The role covers finding overseas buyers, handling orders, and coordinating shipments and export documentation, so that orders are delivered on time and in compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Business development

- Identify and approach importers, distributors, wholesalers, and OEM buyers in target markets (Africa, Middle East, SAARC, Southeast Asia, etc.).
- Respond to enquiries, prepare quotations and proforma invoices, and negotiate prices and payment terms.
- Maintain relationships with existing overseas customers and follow up for repeat orders.
- Research market trends, competitor pricing, and product demand by country.
- Take part in international trade fairs, virtual meetings, and buyer-seller meets.

Order and shipment management

- Process export orders and coordinate with production, quality, and stores for timely dispatch.
- Plan packing, labelling, and palletisation to buyer and destination-country requirements.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHAs, and shipping lines for bookings and cargo movement.
- Track shipments until delivery and keep buyers updated.

Export documentation and compliance

- Prepare and verify commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading/airway bill, certificate of origin, shipping bill, and other required documents.
- Handle LC, advance,



and CAD/DP payment documentation, and follow up on payment realisation (including BRC/FIRC).
- Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, and GST rules; claim export incentives such as RoDTEP, duty drawback, and RCMC benefits.
- Support product certification requirements for overseas markets (e.g., CE, IEC, SONCAP, SASO, or other local standards).

Coordination and reporting

- Work with the marketing team on catalogues, samples, and product data sheets.
- Coordinate with the accounts team on invoicing, receivables, and credit follow-up.
- Maintain order, dispatch, and customer records, and prepare monthly export MIS reports.

Required Qualifications

- Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or Engineering (B.Com, BBA, B.Tech); an MBA or a diploma in Export-Import Management is an advantage.
- 2 to 5 years of export experience, preferably in electrical, electronics, or consumer durables manufacturing.

Skills and Competencies

- Working knowledge of export-import procedures, Incoterms (FOB, CIF, CFR, EXW), and international payment terms.
- Familiarity with products such as ceiling, table, and exhaust fans, changeover switches, and switchgear.
- Robust written and spoken English; additional languages (Arabic, French) are a plus.
- Good negotiation, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email; experience with ERP/Tally is preferred.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
