Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced GRC / Cybersecurity Compliance Specialist to support cybersecurity governance, risk management, compliance assessments, and security documentation activities for client engagements.

The selected professional will collaborate with CGST's Project Manager, Technical Lead, and assigned cybersecurity professionals to assess security controls, identify compliance gaps, develop remediation recommendations, and prepare professional client deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance assessments.
- Perform security risk assessments and maintain risk registers.
- Evaluate organizational security controls against applicable standards and frameworks.
- Support ISO/IEC 27001 readiness assessments and information security management system (ISMS) documentation.
- Conduct compliance gap analyses and develop remediation roadmaps.
- Assist in preparing cybersecurity policies, procedures, guidelines, and security documentation.
- Review access management,



incident response, business continuity, and data protection controls.
- Support internal security audits and evidence collection.
- Assess third-party and vendor cybersecurity risks.
- Develop risk assessment reports, compliance dashboards, and executive summaries.
- Work with technical teams to understand vulnerabilities and associated business risks.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager to maintain assessment schedules and delivery milestones.
- Track remediation progress and support compliance improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation, confidentiality, and professional assessment records.
- Ensure client recommendations are practical, evidence-based, and aligned with the agreed project scope.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Information Security, GRC, IT Risk Management, or Cybersecurity Compliance.
- Strong understanding of ISO/IEC 27001 and information security management practices.
- Working knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Experience conducting compliance gap assessments and security control reviews.
- Ability to develop and maintain risk registers, policies, procedures, and audit documentation.
- Experience preparing skilled risk and compliance assessment reports.
- Understanding of vulnerability management, access controls, incident response, and business continuity.




- Good knowledge of security governance and risk treatment processes.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with distributed project teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting ISO/IEC 27001 implementation or audit readiness.
- Familiarity with SOC 2, PCI DSS, and applicable data protection requirements.
- Understanding of Indian cybersecurity and data protection regulatory requirements.
- Experience in third-party risk assessments and vendor security evaluations.
- Familiarity with enterprise security risk management tools.
- Experience delivering client-facing cybersecurity advisory projects.
- Relevant certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CISA, CRISC, CISM, or equivalent practical expertise.

Work Arrangement

- Remote contractual engagement within India.
- Project-based GRC and cybersecurity compliance assignments.
- Collaboration with CGST's Project Manager, Technical Lead, and assigned professionals.
- Project responsibilities, timelines, and deliverables defined through individual engagement agreements.
- Strict adherence to confidentiality requirements and professional cybersecurity standards.
