Job Title: PostgreSQL Trainer

We are looking for an experienced and skilled PostgreSQL Trainer to deliver industry-oriented training to students and working professionals. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in PostgreSQL database management, SQL programming, database design, administration, performance tuning, and query optimization.

The trainer should be capable of delivering practical training through live demonstrations, real-time projects, hands-on assignments, and industry-based database scenarios.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Conduct PostgreSQL training sessions for students and working professionals.
- Teach PostgreSQL fundamentals and advanced database concepts.
- Provide hands-on training in SQL queries and database operations.
- Explain database design, normalization, and relational database concepts.
- Train students on DDL, DML, DCL, and TCL commands.
- Cover joins, subqueries, views, indexes, and stored procedures.
- Teach functions, triggers, cursors, and PL/pgSQL programming.
- Explain database backup, recovery, and restoration.
- Cover PostgreSQL installation, configuration, and administration.
- Train students on database security, roles, and permissions.
- Teach query optimization and database performance tuning.
- Explain transactions, concurrency control, and indexing strategies.
- Provide practical assignments and real-time database projects.
- Guide students in database development and administration.
- Prepare students for technical interviews and job placements.





Required Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL database.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and PL/pgSQL.
- Good understanding of relational database concepts.
- Knowledge of database design and normalization.
- Experience with stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Knowledge of indexing and query optimization.
- Understanding of database backup and recovery.
- Experience in PostgreSQL administration and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of database security and access management.
- Familiarity with pgAdmin and PostgreSQL command-line tools.
- Understanding of database connectivity and application integration.
- Knowledge of Linux-based PostgreSQL environments is an added advantage.

Eligibility & Experience

- Minimum 2 years of experience in PostgreSQL database development or administration.
- Real-time project experience in database development, maintenance, or support.
- Previous training or teaching experience is an added advantage.
- Experience with cloud-based PostgreSQL databases is preferred.
- Good communication and presentation skills.

- Solid practical knowledge of PostgreSQL.
- Ability to explain database concepts in a simple manner.
- Experience in handling real-time database projects.
- Ability to conduct classroom and online training sessions.
- Good mentoring and student-handling skills.
- Ability to deliver project-based, industry-oriented training.

Pay: ₹9,300.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
