Cakewala is a well-loved egg and eggless bakery and confectionery brand in Bengaluru, part of Bhatta's Foods Pvt Ltd. We operate multiple retail outlets supported by a central kitchen, and we are growing. We are looking for a friendly, honest and dependable Cashier to be the face of our outlet and give every customer a outstanding experience.
ROLE SUMMARY
As Cashier, you will handle billing and payments at a Cakewala outlet, take custom cake orders, and help customers choose the right products. You will work closely with the Outlet Manager and the outlet team to keep the counter running smoothly, accurately and on time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle billing through the POS system for walk-in sales, custom cake orders and pre-orders
- Accept cash, card and UPI payments accurately and issue proper bills
- Take and record custom cake orders and advance payments,
with complete details and delivery or pickup timings
- Reconcile cash at the end of every shift and prepare shift closing and daily sales reports
- Greet customers warmly, answer product queries (including egg and eggless options) and handle feedback and complaints politely
- Keep the billing counter, display and customer area clean and well presented
- Coordinate with the Outlet Manager and the kitchen on stock availability, order pickups and special requests
- Follow cash control, hygiene and FSSAI food safety procedures
- Follow outlet SOPs and report any discrepancies or issues to the Outlet Manager promptly
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
