• Use AI-powered capabilities for tasks such as footage selection, transcription, subtitles, audio enhancement, background removal,

• Evaluate AI-generated outputs critically for visual quality, consistency, realism and relevance to the brief; identify and correct artefacts or inconsistencies.
• Stay abreast of emerging AI video tools and techniques, identifying practical applications that improve output quality, turnaround time or creative range.
• Ensure AI-generated and third-party assets are used responsibly, with appropriate attention to permissions, copyright, authenticity and editorial integrity. 3. Motion Graphics & Visual Design
• Create titles, typography, transitions, animations, logo treatments and other motion graphics using Adobe After Effects.
• Translate creative briefs and storyboards into compelling motion-led content that complements 1838’s visual identity.
• Apply compositing, masking, tracking, keying and visual effects techniques to enhance the final output.
• Combine motion graphics with live-action and AI-generated footage to create a cohesive and distinctive visual language. 4. Cultural Programming & Digital Content
• Edit content featuring 1838’s creative community, including artists, designers, filmmakers, cultural entrepreneurs and other tastemakers.

• Develop content for YouTube, social media, the website, newsletters, magazine extensions and event screens, as relevant.

• Hands-on experience with AI-powered video editing, generative video workflows and integrating AI-generated assets into final outputs.
• Strong skills in editing, motion graphics, animation, compositing, sound design and post-production.
• A keen visual sense, strong storytelling ability and the judgement to ensure quality and consistency in AI-generated content.
• Familiarity with AI video tools such as Runway, Kling, Higgsfield or similar platforms.
• Ability to independently deliver high-quality content from brief to final output, manage timelines and collaborate with creative and editorial teams.
• Interest in contemporary culture, art, design, film or the wider creative economy is an advantage.
• A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing, motion graphics, storytelling and practical use of AI in video production.
