Role Description The Hybrid Electric Vehicle Intern role is a remote internship designed for undergraduate students interested in electric mobility and automotive technologies. Day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting in research on hybrid electric vehicle architectures, powertrain components, batteries, and energy management systems; supporting the development and documentation of learning materials and case studies; and contributing to simulations, basic calculations, or modeling tasks under guidance from senior team members. The intern may help analyze industry trends, standards, and sustainability practices, and collaborate with trainers to refine course content and practical exercises. This internship also involves participating in virtual meetings,



preparing concise reports or presentations, and maintaining organized records of project work and findings. Qualifications
• Foundational knowledge of automotive engineering, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering, with interest in hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
• Basic understanding of vehicle dynamics, powertrain concepts, batteries, motors, and energy storage or conversion technologies.
• Familiarity with engineering software tools (such as MATLAB/Simulink or similar), data analysis, or simulation techniques is an advantage.
• Solid research, technical writing, and documentation skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly and logically.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and attention to detail when working on technical tasks or projects.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time responsibly.
• Current enrollment in a relevant undergraduate program (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or related discipline); prior coursework or projects in EV/HEV topics are a plus.
