Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Thoothukudi. The Accountant will manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining ledgers. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, assisting with tax returns and compliance filings, and supporting audits by organizing and verifying financial records. The role involves monitoring accounts payable and receivable, preparing periodic reports for management, and ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards and local regulations.



The Accountant will collaborate with team members and clients to resolve discrepancies, answer financial queries, and help improve internal processes and controls. Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets; ability to use MS Excel and related tools for data analysis and reporting.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Understanding of local tax regulations and compliance requirements in India, or willingness to learn quickly.
• Effective communication skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders in a transparent and professional manner.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work reliably in an on-site office environment.
