Role Description This is a full-time, on-site 3D Character Animator intern role based in Hyderabad. The intern will support the animation team in creating expressive 3D character performances, from blocking to final polish, aligned with project briefs and creative direction. Day-to-day responsibilities include working with motion capture data, assisting in character rigging and testing, and contributing to storyboarding and previsualization. The role also involves using Autodesk Maya for character animation workflows, collaborating with artists and producers,



and iterating based on feedback to maintain high visual and technical standards. The intern will have opportunities to learn studio pipelines, improve animation fundamentals, and support the delivery of cinematic-quality work. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in character Animation and fundamentals of performance, timing, and body mechanics.
• Candidates should possess skills in Motion Capture workflows, including cleaning, retargeting, and integrating mocap data into character rigs.
• Candidates should possess skills in Rigging, with an understanding of character setup, deformation, and control systems.
• Candidates should possess skills in Storyboarding and visual storytelling to communicate ideas, beats, and character actions clearly.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Autodesk Maya for 3D character animation and related production tasks.
• Relevant qualifications include ongoing or completed studies in Animation, VFX, Game Design, Multimedia, or a related field.
• Beneficial skills include familiarity with other 3D or compositing tools, basic understanding of lighting and rendering, and a strong animation portfolio or reel.
• Ability to collaborate in a studio environment, follow direction, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly in a multicultural setting.
