Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Admissions Counselor role based in Coimbatore. The Senior Admissions Counselor will guide prospective learners through the admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment, ensuring a professional and supportive experience. Responsibilities include conducting consultations (in-person and via phone/video), explaining program details and outcomes, assessing learner profiles, and recommending suitable courses. The role involves managing lead pipelines, following up with prospects, meeting enrollment and conversion targets, and maintaining accurate records in CRM systems.



The Senior Admissions Counselor will collaborate with academic and operations teams, participate in events and information sessions, and provide feedback on market trends and learner needs to help refine offerings. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills for clear, empathetic, and persuasive interactions with diverse learners and stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to deliver a supportive admissions experience, handle queries, and resolve concerns professionally.
• Candidates should possess Sales skills to manage leads, drive conversions, meet enrollment targets, and effectively present program value propositions.
• Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge or experience, ideally within higher education, edtech, training, or counseling environments.
• Relevant experience (typically 2–5 years) in admissions, counseling, inside sales, or student recruitment, preferably in the education or edtech sector.
• Ability to work with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and basic reporting to track leads, conversions, and performance metrics.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple inquiries and follow-ups efficiently.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in Business, Psychology, Education, or Marketing is an advantage.
• Comfort with working from an on-site office environment in Coimbatore, with flexibility for extended hours or weekends during peak admissions periods.
