Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019/2022)
• Performance tuning: indexing, query optimization, execution plans
• Design and manage backup, restore, and DR strategies
• Implement and support HA: Always On AGs, Failover Clustering, Log Shipping, Replication
• Manage database security, access control, and audit compliance
• Plan and execute patching, upgrades, and migrations
• Incident management, RCA, and SLA adherence for 24x7 production systems
• Automate routine tasks (T-SQL, PowerShell) and maintain documentation
• Required Skills




• Strong hands-on SQL Server administration in large production environments
• Expertise in HA/DR and backup/recovery
• Advanced T-SQL, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of Windows Server and VMware
• Good to Have
• SSIS/SSRS/SSAS exposure
• Azure SQL / AWS RDS; Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
• Microsoft certifications (MCSA / Azure DBA Associate)
• Experience with shift or on-call support
