Role Description This is a full-time, remote User Experience Writer role. The User Experience Writer will craft clear, intuitive, and culturally sensitive in-app copy for flows, quizzes, prompts, error messages, and onboarding experiences. Day-to-day work includes collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to define content goals, refine interaction copy, and ensure consistent tone and voice across the platform. The role involves conducting or leveraging UX research to understand user needs, testing different content approaches, and iterating on copy based on feedback and data.



The User Experience Writer will also contribute to content guidelines, documentation, and naming conventions that support a cohesive user experience. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess robust User Experience Writing and Writing skills for digital products and interfaces.
• Candidates should possess Technical Writing skills for clear documentation and in-app guidance.
• Candidates should possess UX Research skills to understand user behavior, needs, and content effectiveness.
• Candidates should possess Content Strategy skills to plan, structure, and maintain consistent product content.
• Strong command of English with excellent grammar, attention to detail, and the ability to write concisely and inclusively.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional product teams in a remote environment.
• Familiarity or interest in African languages, cultures, and diaspora experiences is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Linguistics, Human-Computer Interaction) or equivalent practical experience.
