5–8 Years Support: 8/5 – Monday to Friday Duration: 3 Years Joining: Immediate / Within 15 Days Preferred Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Detection Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Sentinel to design, develop, optimize, and maintain advanced security detection capabilities. The candidate should have practical experience in KQL, analytics rules, threat detection engineering, and SIEM integration.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain security detection use cases in Microsoft Sentinel.
• Create and optimize KQL queries for threat detection and investigation.
• Develop analytics rules, scheduled queries, and correlation logic.
• Integrate Microsoft Sentinel with Microsoft Defender and other security solutions.
• Map detection use cases to the MITRE ATT&CK; framework.
• Tune detection rules to reduce false positives and improve alert accuracy.
• Investigate detection gaps and troubleshoot failed or ineffective detection logic.




• Collaborate with SOC and threat hunting teams to improve security monitoring. Must-Have

Skills:
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel.
• Advanced KQL query development.
• Experience developing analytics rules and custom detection use cases.
• Knowledge of SIEM architecture and security monitoring.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender and Azure security integrations.
• Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK; framework.
• Detection engineering, alert tuning, and threat investigation experience. Valuable to Have:
• Microsoft Sentinel automation and SOAR integration.
• Experience with Logic Apps and playbook development.
