As a Specialist – OSP (Outside Plant) at QuadGen Wireless Solutions, I work on the planning, design, drafting, and documentation of fiber optic outside plant networks for telecom projects. My responsibilities include preparing and updating FTTX OSP designs, aerial and underground fiber layouts, route plans, handhole and duct details, bore profiles, stationing, utility verification, and Bills of Materials (BOM). I use AutoCAD and other engineering tools to develop accurate construction and permitting drawings while following client requirements, engineering standards, and project specifications. I regularly review survey information, verify utilities and stationing, make viewport adjustments, incorporate redlines and markups, and carry out QC/IQC checks to ensure drawings are complete and construction-ready. I also coordinate with project leads, QC teams, and other engineering teams to resolve design issues and deliver projects within required timelines.

In addition to production and quality control, I have worked on CAD automation using LISP tools to improve the efficiency of the permitting and design process, particularly for activities such as stationing and utility verification. Key areas of work:
• FTTX OSP design and permitting
• Aerial and underground fiber optic network design
• AutoCAD drafting and construction drawings
• Utility and stationing verification
• Handhole, duct, bore profile and BOM preparation
• Redline and markup corrections
• QC/IQC and drawing quality checks
• Survey and field data interpretation
• Client-specific design modifications
• CAD automation and process improvement
•
• Coordination with engineering, QC, and project teams
