Saileor is hiring an Accounts Payable Officer on behalf of our client, a multi-entity retail group based in Australia. This is a fully remote role based in India. Immediate joiners are preferred. Your day runs from about 7:00 am to 4:00 pm IST). What you will do
• Enter and code invoices across all the Group's entities
• Match invoices to purchase orders and proof of delivery (POD) before processing
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any differences
• Support month-end close, including accruals, journals and reconciliations
• Do bank and general ledger reconciliations as needed
• Work in the Group's finance system, Microsoft Business Central (NAV), with Continia for invoice and OCR processing
• Work closely with the finance team in Australia and the offshore team in the Philippines to make sure handovers are smooth and tasks are covered
• Handle supplier queries
• Give general finance and admin support when needed
• Work extra hours from time to time to meet deadlines, mostly around month-end What you need




• 3 to 5 years of experience in accounts payable or bookkeeping
• A bachelor's degree in accounting or commerce (B.
Com or equivalent)
• A sound understanding of accounting principles Nice to have
• Experience with Microsoft Business Central (NAV)
• Experience with Continia or similar invoice and OCR tools Who you are
