Job Summary Handle daily foundry production activities for ferrous and non-ferrous castings. Candidates with experience in non-ferrous foundry operations will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise moulding, melting, pouring, finishing and other foundry activities.
• Plan daily production and coordinate with workers to complete work on time.
• Check raw materials, melting temperatures and casting quality as per requirements.
• Identify casting defects and help reduce rejection, scrap and material wastage.
• Coordinate with quality and maintenance teams to resolve production issues.
• Guide workers on proper working methods and protected handling of molten metal.
• Maintain daily production, rejection and material consumption records.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety on the shop floor. Qualification and Experience
• Diploma, B.
E. or B.
Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• Practical experience in ferrous or non-ferrous foundry production.
• Preference will be given to candidates with non-ferrous casting experience. Required Skills
• Basic knowledge of foundry processes and casting defects.
• Ability to read basic engineering drawings and understand quality requirements.
• Ability to manage workers and solve day-to-day production problems.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
