About the Role
Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) is seeking an experienced skilled for its SCADA Control Centre Operations & ABT function. The role is responsible for real-time operation and monitoring of EHV substations, power scheduling, energy management, demand forecasting, ABT operations, and coordination with Load Dispatch Centres (LDCs) to ensure reliable and cost-effective power system operation.

Key Responsibilities
SCADA & Control Centre Operations
• Monitor and operate EHV substation equipment through SCADA and control centre systems.
• Track operational parameters and ensure reliable operation of transmission assets.
• Monitor alarms, indications, AC/DC systems, UPS, DG sets, HVAC systems, communication links, and auxiliary equipment.
• Perform load transfer operations, equipment isolation, switching operations, and permit issuance as per approved procedures.
• Ensure uninterrupted operation of communication systems and control centre infrastructure. ABT Operations & Energy Scheduling
• Execute day-ahead and real-time power scheduling activities in compliance with IEGC, CERC, GERC, SLDC, and WRLDC regulations.
• Analyze demand patterns and forecast power requirements for effective scheduling.
• Optimize energy procurement and scheduling to minimize deviations and operational costs.
• Monitor renewable energy generation forecasts and integrate them into scheduling plans.
• Manage scheduling, rescheduling, and deviation settlement activities in line with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare scheduling reports, power purchase analyses, and energy management insights for stakeholders.




• Support reconciliation of power purchase and energy accounting statements. Forecasting & Analytics
• Develop and enhance demand forecasting and load prediction models.
• Implement weather-based and power forecasting techniques for improved scheduling accuracy.
• Monitor consumer load patterns and maintain operational records.
• Identify scheduling risks and implement mitigation plans for real-time operations. Substation Operations
• Conduct switchyard inspections and monitor equipment health.
• Report equipment abnormalities and operational issues promptly.
• Coordinate planned shutdowns and maintenance activities with internal teams.
• Support preventive maintenance and hotline maintenance activities.
• Manage restoration of power supply during emergencies and breakdown situations.
• Ensure quick response to operational disturbances and system contingencies. Desired Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of power system operations and energy scheduling regulations.
• Experience working with SLDC, RLDC, CTU, STU, utilities, DISCOMs, or transmission companies.
• Hands-on experience in control room operations, real-time monitoring, and grid coordination.
• Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities in a 24x7 operational environment.
