· Remote | Full-time BUILD THE FINANCIAL DISCIPLINE BEHIND AN AI-NATIVE BUSINESS. Work directly with a founder who is a Chartered Accountant. This role combines hands-on core finance with Founder’s Office exposure: understanding how the business earns, spends, plans and makes decisions, then making the underlying information more reliable. You’ll work with financial records, models and operational follow-through while using AI tools to make the work faster and more rigorous. WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
• Support bookkeeping, expense classification and reporting across business accounts.
• Reconcile financial records and investigate differences using supporting documents.
• Build cash-flow, runway and budget-versus-actual views.
• Analyse revenue, costs and unit economics, including customer acquisition cost and lifetime value where the underlying data supports them.
• Prepare capitalization-versus-operating-expense analyses for review, with documented assumptions.
• Research grants and funding opportunities; track eligibility, deadlines and required materials.
• Support financial models, investor materials and diligence requests.
• Follow up on missing financial information and keep owners, deadlines and next actions visible.
• Build AI-assisted research, spreadsheet and computer-use workflows while independently checking calculations and conclusions. MANDATORY WORKING KNOWLEDGE
• Spreadsheets and accounting fundamentals: formulas, reconciliations, financial statements and model checks.
• Claude and Codex: practical analysis, spreadsheet or automation workflows, with verification of outputs.




• Computer-use tools: safe browser or desktop workflows, outcome validation and protection of confidential financial information.
• Slack and Jira/Atlassian: concise communication, documented work and tracking commitments through to closure. You do not need to be a software engineer. You do need practical AI-tool fluency and the judgment to know when a number or conclusion requires checking. HOW WE WANT TO WORK Ownership, fast feedback and honest communication. Bring curiosity, take the details seriously and flag uncertainty before it becomes a decision based on bad information. Suggest better processes and follow through. Good work means a traceable number, a clear explanation and an unresolved item brought to closure. ENTRY ROUTES Candidates with relevant experience will be considered directly for full-time employment. Candidates without relevant experience will start with a six-month internship, with a performance-based pre-placement offer (PPO) opportunity. A PPO is not automatic or guaranteed. Candidates from Tier 1 institutions are preferred. Robust applicants from other institutions are welcome and should demonstrate relevant ability through their work.
