Neary is a people-first app for real-world connection, built by a young, fully remote team of 15+, all in our 20s. We move fast, we build things from scratch, and as we gear up for launch and investor outreach, we need someone who keeps our numbers, valuation logic, and compliance rock solid. We're not hiring someone to just fill cells. We're hiring a future leader with a sharp finance mind who wants real ownership and a front-row seat to early-stage venture building from day one. ? What you'll actually do
• Build and own our financial models: 3-statement forecasts, unit economics, sensitivity models, and burn rate schedules
• Prep investor-ready decks and data rooms that turn our business logic into clear, compelling slides
• Keep our compliance clean: baseline corporate filings, ROC and statutory requirements, and governance check-ins
• Stress-test our assumptions on pricing, unit economics, and market sizing (TAM, SAM, SOM)
• Track the runway: keep cash-flow projections sharp and spot gaps before they become bottlenecks
• Ask "do these numbers actually make sense?" and keep refining until they do ?️ What we hope you bring
• A leadership mindset: you own your models, double-check your formulas, and deliver work you stand behind
• A strong grasp of financial modelling, valuation basics, and startup metrics (CAC, LTV, burn rate, margins)
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, with a love for clean formulas and well-structured assumptions
• Attention to detail, because one misplaced decimal can change the whole valuation story
• Genuine curiosity about how pre-seed and seed rounds are pitched, structured, and closed
• Discretion:



you'll handle cap tables, financial data, and strategy documents with complete integrity
• Pursuing or completed CA (Inter/Final), CFA, MBA Finance, or a degree in finance or accounting, based in India ?? No corporate banking experience needed. If you're sincere, sharp with numbers, and eager to build, we'll guide the rest. ? The details
