Chennai or Bangalore Role Overview We are looking for an experienced SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) skilled with strong Java/J2EE development expertise, SAP CX ecosystem knowledge and experience in enterprise application development, integration and performance optimisation. The candidate should be capable of working as an Individual Contributor or Technical Lead, driving technical delivery, designing scalable solutions and integrating SAP Commerce Cloud with SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise platforms. Technical Skills & Competencies 1. Core Java & Backend Development
• Java 8+, Spring Framework, J2EE.
• Multithreading, concurrency and performance tuning.
• Object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Enterprise application development. 2. SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris)
• PCM (Product Content Management).
• OMS (Order Management System).
• SmartEdit and Back-office.
• Commerce Cloud customisation and integration APIs.
• Experience in SAP Commerce Cloud architecture. 3. Front-end Development
• Spartacus storefront.
• Angular / React.
• Headless and composable commerce architecture.
• API-driven frontend development. 4. Enterprise Integration
• OData, REST and SOAP APIs.




• SAP CPI / SAP PO.
• SAP Commerce and S/4HANA integration.
• Enterprise application integration. 5. Database & Performance
• SQL optimisation and indexing.
• Caching strategies.
• Ehcache and Redis.
• Application performance monitoring and tuning. 6. DevOps & Cloud Technologies
• Jenkins / GitLab CI.
• CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build, deployment and release management. 7. SAP Functional & Integration Expertise
• Understanding of SAP CX suite, particularly Commerce Cloud and Sales Cloud.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA SD module.
• Exposure to at least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations and 2 rollouts.
• Understanding of order-to-cash processes and integration touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop and customise SAP Commerce Cloud applications.
• Drive backend and frontend technical development.
• Build and maintain integrations between SAP Commerce Cloud and S/4HANA.
• Optimise application performance, scalability and reliability.
• Work with cross-functional teams across SAP, Java and frontend technologies.
• Drive technical discussions, code reviews and solution design.
• Support deployments, troubleshooting and production issues.
• Take ownership of deliverables as an IC or technical lead.
