Role Description The Electrical Engineer (Lift Engineer) will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining electrical systems and components for elevator installations and modernizations at the Ahmedabad site. This full-time, on-site role involves preparing electrical drawings and wiring diagrams, selecting appropriate components, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and relevant codes. The engineer will support installation teams with technical guidance, conduct testing and troubleshooting of control panels and elevator electric systems, and document findings and corrective actions. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with mechanical and design teams, reviewing customer specifications, optimizing system performance,



and providing technical support to service and maintenance staff. The role also includes contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, supporting quality checks, and collaborating with global teams to align local projects with DMG’s engineering and product standards. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, including power systems, control circuits, and safety standards.
• Experience in elevator or lift systems engineering, preferably with control panels, traction and hydraulic lifts, and related electrical components.
• Proficiency in electrical design tools and CAD software for creating wiring diagrams and panel layouts.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and product specifications.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and regulations for electrical and elevator installations (e.g., IEC/EN standards, local electrical codes).
• Hands-on experience with testing, commissioning, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Understanding of industrial automation concepts, PLCs, and basic electronics used in elevator control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on safety and reliability.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and customers.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or field engineering environments is an advantage.
