Role Description The Men’s Wear Fashion Designer will design and develop contemporary menswear collections, including formal, semi-formal, and casual garments, aligned with Tailorworks’ brand identity and client preferences. Day-to-day responsibilities include conceptualizing designs, creating sketches and technical specifications, selecting fabrics and trims, and collaborating closely with master tailors to ensure precise execution and fit. The role involves meeting clients to understand their style requirements, conducting fittings, refining patterns, and making adjustments based on feedback.



The designer will also monitor current fashion trends, contribute to lookbooks or style guides, and maintain strong coordination with production to meet quality and delivery timelines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. Qualifications
• Strong menswear design skills, including concept development, sketching, and garment construction for formal and casual wear.
• Proficiency in pattern making, draping, and fitting, with a keen eye for detail and tailoring-focused design.
• Ability to research fashion trends, fabrics, and trims, and translate insights into commercially viable designs.
• Experience collaborating with tailors and production teams to ensure quality, fit, and timely delivery.
• Comfort interacting with clients, understanding their preferences, and converting requirements into custom designs.
• Knowledge of design tools or software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CAD for fashion) is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Fashion Design or a related field, with prior experience in menswear design preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, reliability in meeting deadlines, and ability to work in office in Delhi.
