About Us
• We are a Canada-based entrepreneur-led group running several businesses. We also run businesses, including Immigration, Business Coaching, device & Auto repair stores, and restaurants, and we want content for all of these. You should be comfortable writing any type of script for any of our brands — immigration explainer, business education, retail promo, restaurant reel — and adjusting tone for each. Every brand publishes short-form video first, with blogs, carousels and posts built around each video topic. The Role You will own our content system end to end. You research and script the topics, build the AI workflows that make the process fast and repeatable, and once videos are recorded in weekly batch sessions by the founder or someone on the team, you take the raw footage through editing, repurposing, scheduling and publishing — then report on how every post performed and feed that back into the next week's plan. This is not a conventional social media posting role. We want one organized, creative person who can run the whole pipeline without being chased, and who understands that a positive video is as much about the hook, pacing and visuals as the words. This is a founding role: you start by owning the system yourself, and as it grows, you build and lead the team behind it. How the Week Runs Every topic moves through six stages. You own five of them; recording is done by whoever is on camera for that brand.
• Research (you): Trending topics, IRCC announcements, audience questions, competitor content → shortlist for approval
• Script (you): Approved topics become ready-to-record scripts with hook, structure, on-screen text and B-roll notes
• Record (on-camera person): One weekly batch-recording session; you prepare the shot list and teleprompter-ready scripts
• Edit (you): Cut, caption, add B-roll/graphics, export per platform; build the blog, carousel and posts from the same topic
• Schedule & publish (you): Load everything into our scheduling tool with captions, hashtags, thumbnails and titles; keep the calendar full
• Report (you): Weekly performance report: what worked, what didn't, what to do more of next week Most weeks look like this: research and scripts early in the week, recording mid-week, editing and scheduling after, and the report on Monday. What You Will Be Responsible For 1. Content Research & Planning
• Research trending topics, audience interests, industry developments and viral content formats for each of our brands.
• Analyze high-performing videos from similar creators and competitors, and turn what works into hooks, formats and ideas.
• Monitor official IRCC announcements and Canadian immigration news; flag anything time-sensitive the same day.
• Turn audience questions, comments and DMs into content ideas.
• Maintain a weekly content calendar for every brand and bring a shortlist of topics for approval every week. 2. Short-Form Video Scriptwriting This is one of the most important responsibilities.
• Write any type of script — educational, promotional, storytelling, offers, behind-the-scenes — for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts,

Facebook Reels and LinkedIn video, across all of our businesses.
• Open with hooks that stop the scroll and structure the script to hold attention to the end.
• Write for the camera: natural spoken language, clear pacing, no generic or AI-sounding filler.
• Include on-screen text, B-roll suggestions, visual transitions and editing directions in every script.
• Deliver scripts in a ready-to-record batch before each recording session, with a shot list. 3. AI Content Workflows
• Design, build and document AI workflows (Claude Projects, Skills and prompt templates) for research, scripting, editing and repurposing, so output stays consistent, on-brand and repeatable across every brand.
• Keep improving the workflows as new tools come out, and maintain SOPs so the system can scale to a team. 4. Video Editing & Post-Production (you own this)
• Edit the raw recordings into finished videos: cuts, pacing, captions, on-screen text, B-roll, graphics, music and sound.
• Use Claude and other AI editing tools wherever they speed the work without hurting quality.
• Export the right versions for each platform (vertical, square, landscape as needed).
• Create thumbnails and reel covers, titles and descriptions.
• Keep a tidy content library: raw footage, project files, finished exports and assets, all named and organized. 5. Repurposing & Multi-Platform Distribution One approved topic should produce several pieces of content, each adapted to its platform rather than copied across:
• One detailed blog article.
• Multiple short-form video scripts.
• LinkedIn posts.
• Instagram captions and carousel content.
• Facebook posts.
• Google Business Profile updates.
• Any other platform-specific format that fits the topic. 6. Scheduling & Publishing
• Load finished content into our scheduling tool with captions, hashtags, titles, thumbnails and links.
• Keep every brand publishing on a consistent cadence; never let the queue run empty.
• Track every piece through the pipeline: idea → approved → scripted → recorded → edited → scheduled → published.
• Coordinate approvals so nothing goes out without sign-off, including RCIC review for immigration content. 7. Performance Tracking & Reporting
• Deliver a short weekly report covering views, reach, engagement, follower growth, website clicks and leads by post and by platform.
• Identify what is working (hooks, topics, formats, posting times) and what is not.
• Recommend concrete changes for the following week and build them into the plan.
• Keep a simple running dashboard so trends are visible month to month. Tools We Use We actively use AI tools and want someone who enjoys experimenting with new ones. You do not need to know every tool below, but you should be comfortable learning any of them quickly.
• Research & writing: Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini
• Video editing: CapCut, Descript, Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
• AI video,

voice & graphics: Higgsfield, Runway, HeyGen, ElevenLabs, Canva
• Scheduling & publishing: Buffer, Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile
• Automation & tracking: Make.com or Zapier, Google Sheets, Notion or similar If you already use a different tool that does the job better, tell us — we care about the result, not the brand. Who We Are Looking For
• Excellent written English and a natural storytelling instinct.
• Hands-on experience writing short-form video scripts and editing short-form video — both, not one or the other.
• A real understanding of hooks, retention, pacing and visual storytelling on Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn.
• Comfortable with AI tools for research, scripting, editing and voice, and curious about new ones; experience building custom prompts or AI workflows (especially with Claude) is a strong plus.
• Organized enough to run a multi-stage pipeline for several brands without dropping anything.
• Proactive: you bring ideas, flag problems early and take ownership of deliverables.
• Able to work independently with light supervision and a weekly check-in.
• Interest in Canadian immigration, entrepreneurship, retail or food is a plus; so is Hindi or Punjabi, since part of our audience is South Asian.

Experience:
Ideally 1–3 years in content creation, video editing, digital marketing or social media strategy. A strong portfolio showing real scripts and edited videos matters more to us than formal qualifications. What Makes This Opportunity Different
• Work directly with a Canadian business owner, not through layers of agency management.
• Own the entire content system for a growing group of businesses — from idea to published post to performance report.
• Work with contemporary AI tools and emerging content technologies, with room to experiment.
• See your work go live every week and watch the numbers move.
• Clear growth path: as the workload builds over the next few months, we plan to build one content team for all our businesses — and we want you to lead it.

How to Apply
Please share the following:
• Your updated resume.
• Links to 3–5 short-form videos you have edited, and 2–3 scripts you have written (tell us which parts were yours).
• Links to social media accounts or campaigns you have helped manage, if available.
• A brief description of the AI tools you currently use for content creation and editing.
• Your expected monthly compensation and availability. Important: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a paid practical assignment covering the full pipeline: (1) research one immigration topic and one topic for a different type of business (for example a phone store or a restaurant) and justify why each would perform; (2) write two short-form video scripts with hooks, on-screen text and B-roll notes; (3) edit one finished reel from raw footage we provide, with captions and a cover; (4) repurpose that topic into a LinkedIn post and an Instagram carousel outline; and (5) write a one-page plan for how you would track and report its performance. Expect 6–8 hours of work; we pay for the time. We are looking for someone who can think creatively, take ownership, and help us build a consistent, high-quality content engine.
