Role Description : The Academic Advisor will provide personalized academic and career guidance to students and working professionals, helping them understand program options and select suitable courses and universities. This full time, on-site role based in Assam (Remote) involves conducting counseling sessions, assessing learners’ interests and goals, and recommending appropriate UG, PG, MBA, and certification programs. The advisor will assist with university selection, admission processes, documentation, and follow-up support to ensure a smooth enrollment experience. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate records of counseling interactions,



collaborating with internal teams to stay updated on program offerings and admission criteria, and responding to inquiries via in-person meetings, phone, and digital channels. The Academic Advisor will also contribute to outreach activities and share feedback to improve student support services.

Qualifications:
• Strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills, with the ability to guide diverse learners toward suitable academic and professional paths.
• Experience in Academic Advising and Education services, including familiarity with higher education programs and admission processes.
• Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and respectfully.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Management, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Ability to build trust, listen actively, and work with individuals from varied backgrounds in a non-judgmental, inclusive manner.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple counseling cases.
• Comfort with using computers, online platforms, and digital communication tools for counseling and documentation.
• Prior experience in academic counseling, admissions, or career guidance in an educational or training organization is preferred.
