– ASSOCIATE Department: NBFC & BFSI Audits

About the Role
- P G BHAGWAT LLP is looking for motivated and detail-oriented Chartered Accountants to join its NBFC & BFSI Audit team in Mumbai. The role involves conducting statutory and internal audits of Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs), banks, and other financial services entities, with a focus on regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities
- 1. Conduct statutory audits, internal audits, and limited reviews of NBFCs, banks, and other financial services entities. 2. Review loan portfolios, retail and corporate finance transactions, and lending operations. 3. Verify asset classification, provisioning, write-offs, and compliance with applicable RBI guidelines. 4. Assist in the preparation of Long Form Audit Reports (LFAR) and other audit reports, wherever applicable. 5. Review financial statements, general ledgers, accounting records, and supporting documentation. 6. Perform Internal Financial Controls (IFC) testing and assess the effectiveness of internal controls. 7. Verify compliance with applicable RBI regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies. 8. Review regulatory reporting, including Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR)



and Asset Liability Management (ALM), wherever applicable. 9. Conduct audit procedures relating to credit and risk management, credit administration, compliance, information systems, and corporate governance. 10. Prepare audit working papers, checklists, audit observations, and reports. 11. Coordinate with client teams to obtain audit evidence and resolve audit queries. Desired Candidate Profile
- 12. Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified. 13. Relevant experience in NBFC, banking, or BFSI audits will be preferred. 14. Good knowledge of RBI regulations, statutory audits, internal audits, and regulatory compliance. 15. Understanding of Ind AS / Accounting Standards, Internal Financial Controls (IFC), and financial reporting. 16. Proficiency in MS Excel, audit documentation, and data analysis. 17. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. 18. Ability to manage multiple audit assignments and work effectively in a team.
