– SOC L3 Engineer (SOC & AI)

Hyderabad Company: Synax Technologies Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced SOC L3 Engineer with strong expertise in SOC operations, advanced threat detection, incident response, threat hunting, and AI-driven cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities
• Handle L3 security incidents, complex investigations, and escalations.
• Provide technical guidance to SOC L1 and L2 analysts.
• Develop and optimize SIEM correlation rules, SOAR playbooks, and detection use cases.
• Conduct advanced threat hunting and MITRE ATT&CK-based; investigations.
• Implement AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities for SOC automation and threat detection.
• Explore AI agents and LLM-based solutions for automated alert triage and incident response.
• Perform malware analysis, root cause analysis, and digital forensics.




• Evaluate and integrate emerging cybersecurity technologies. Required Skills
• Robust hands-on experience in enterprise SOC operations.
• Expertise in SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and threat intelligence.
• Strong incident response and threat hunting capabilities.
• Knowledge of Python, scripting, and security automation.
• Practical understanding of AI/ML, GenAI, LLMs, RAG, and AI agents.
• Good understanding of MITRE ATT&CK; and cybersecurity frameworks. Preferred CertificationsCISSP, CISM, GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, or relevant SIEM certifications. Ideal Candidate: A hands-on SOC expert capable of managing complex security incidents and driving the transformation of traditional SOC operations into an AI-powered Cyber Defence Centre.
