salary:
₹1,00,000–₹1,20,000 per month, depending on relevant experience and demonstrated capability.
• Additional monthly performance incentive: Up to ₹10,000 against an approved KPI scorecard.

• Approved official travel expenses reimbursed separately under company policy. Performance incentives are conditional and separate from fixed salary. The final salary structure and CTC will be communicated in the offer letter. ABOUT FOR YOU MART FOR YOU MART is a growing supermarket retail chain serving semi-urban and rural markets in Odisha. We are looking for an experienced retail operations leader to strengthen store performance, inventory controls, supply-chain execution and team accountability. THE ROLE You will lead day-to-day business operations across company-operated stores, the Distribution Centre and assigned Head Office functions. You should be able to resolve routine operational issues, execute approved business plans and develop responsible teams. Decisions must remain within approved budgets and delegated authority.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Sales and profitability Drive store-wise sales, customer footfall, conversion, basket value, gross margin and controllable expenses. Identify performance gaps and implement measurable corrective actions.
• Store operations and customer experience Lead Area Managers and Store Managers in product availability, merchandising, customer service, store readiness, offer execution and SOP compliance. Conduct regular store visits and operational reviews.




• Inventory and procurement coordination Improve stock accuracy, replenishment, purchasing discipline and product availability. Monitor out-of-stock items, excess stock, slow-moving products and supplier follow-ups within approved budgets.
• Distribution Centre and supply chain Oversee inward accuracy, storage, picking, dispatch, transport and timely store replenishment. Resolve recurring delivery delays, shortages and coordination failures.
• Loss and expiry control Strengthen stock-count practices, FIFO/FEFO, damage controls, short-expiry monitoring, approved clearance activities and supplier settlements. Track corrective actions until closure.
• People and departmental execution Guide operational teams and coordinate HR, administration, purchasing, marketing execution, MIS and new-store readiness. Improve staffing, training, productivity and management follow-up.
• MIS and operating reviews Use GoFrugal ERP, the For You Team app and Accounts-validated figures to review performance. Maintain accurate dashboards, assign action owners and follow up deadlines through daily, weekly and monthly reviews.
• Current-store execution Coordinate store-opening readiness, manpower, stock, training, operating checklists and the handover to the store team.
• Governance and financial controls Operate within approved budgets and written authority. Finance and Accounts retain responsibility for accounting, treasury, statutory payments, payment processing and banking.



Escalate strategic decisions and exceptions to the Managing Director. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in organised supermarket, grocery, hypermarket or FMCG retail operations.
• At least 3 years directly leading multiple outlets.
• Experience managing five or more outlets is preferred.
• Demonstrated responsibility for sales, store profitability, inventory, manpower and operating standards.
• Practical understanding of retail replenishment, warehouse/DC coordination, shrinkage and expiry control.
• Ability to interpret ERP/POS reports and work confidently with Excel and operational dashboards.
• Strong people-management, problem-solving and execution skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with store teams in Odia and Hindi, with working English for reports and business communication.
• Willingness to work from Bhubaneswar and travel frequently across Odisha. EDUCATION Graduation is required. An MBA or relevant qualification in Retail, Operations or Business Management is preferred. INITIAL EXPECTATIONS First 30 days: Assess stores, the DC, operating data and team capability; identify priority gaps and immediate actions. By 60 days: Implement agreed improvement plans, reporting routines, accountability and operating controls. By 90 days: Demonstrate measurable progress against agreed business and operational targets.
