Hastin Energy is a full-stack battery technology company developing advanced battery packs, Battery Management Systems (BMS), embedded software, and integrated energy solutions for UAVs, eVTOL aircraft, defence, robotics, and Energy Storage Systems (ESS). We are looking for a motivated Electrical Engineer Intern to work on the design, development, testing, and integration of high-voltage lithium-ion battery systems and their associated electrical and electronic components. This role offers hands-on experience in battery engineering, BMS development, power electronics, embedded communication, and system-level integration. Role Description The Intern – Electrical Design Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The intern will support the design and development of electrical systems for battery packs, working closely with engineering teams to create and review schematics, layouts, and documentation. Day-to-day tasks include assisting in electrical design calculations, supporting power distribution and safety analysis, and contributing to component selection and validation. The role also involves collaborating on integration of BMS and related electronics,



participating in testing and troubleshooting activities, and updating technical reports and design records. The intern will engage in cross-functional discussions to ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a B.
E./B.
Tech or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong fundamentals in electrical circuits, analog and digital electronics, and electrical measurements.
• Basic understanding of lithium-ion batteries, voltage/current ratings, electrical protection, and power systems.
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, I²C, UART, or SMBus.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and component datasheets.
• Willingness to work hands-on with hardware, laboratory equipment, and prototype battery systems.
• Valuable analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills. NOTE: This is a paid Internship role that will be converted to a full-time role after 3 months based on performance.
