Role Overview: We are an export-focused home décor brand selling to US customers through Amazon (FBA and FBM) and our Shopify store. The Supply Chain & Logistics Manager owns everything from the moment finished goods leave production until they are shipped: storage, stock accuracy, packing, labelling, palletising and dispatch to Amazon FBA warehouses, 3PLs and direct-to-customer orders. The role keeps orders accurate, on time and compliant with Amazon and US import requirements, while leading the packing and dispatch team on the floor.
Key responsibilities
Finished goods inventory
-
• Receive finished goods from production after QC; verify quantities, SKUs and packing against production orders.
• Maintain a clear bin/rack location system and FIFO for all SKUs (cushions, throws, rugs, wall décor, planters, etc.).
• Keep ERP/inventory software and Amazon/Shopify stock levels in sync; run daily cycle counts and monthly full stock audits.
• Flag low stock, slow-moving and damaged items; manage returns, rework and rejected goods.
• Target inventory accuracy of 99%+ and zero untraceable stock. Packing, labelling & compliance
-
• Ensure packing meets Amazon FBA prep rules: FNSKU labels, poly-bag suffocation warnings, carton weight and dimension limits, box content labels.
• Apply carton marks, “Made in India” country-of-origin labels and pallet labels as required by US Customs and buyers.
• Set packing standards (drop-test-secure cartons, fragile handling for ceramics/glass) to cut transit damage.
• Check every shipment against the packing list before sealing. Shipping & dispatch
-
• Plan daily dispatch: Amazon FBA inbound shipments, 3PL/US warehouse replenishment and Shopify direct orders.
• Build Amazon Seller Central shipment plans with the e-commerce team; print and apply shipment IDs and carrier labels.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA and courier partners (DHL, FedEx, UPS, Aramex) for air, sea (LCL/FCL) and courier shipments.
• Supervise container/truck stuffing, load plans and photo records of every load.
• Prepare or verify dispatch documents with the export/documentation team: commercial invoice, packing list, shipping bill, e-way bill, LUT/IGST paperwork.
• Track shipments to delivery; resolve Amazon receiving discrepancies and carrier claims. Team & floor management
-
• Lead packers, pickers, loaders and store staff; plan shifts, assign daily targets and track productivity.
• Train the team on SOPs, Amazon prep rules and safe handling.
• Enforce 5S, housekeeping, fire safety and PPE on the floor.
• Report daily dispatch status and weekly inventory MIS to management.
• Suggest process, layout and packaging improvements to lower cost per shipment. Qualifications &
skills:
• Graduate (any stream); diploma or degree in logistics/supply chain preferred.
• 5–8 years in warehouse or dispatch, with at least 2 years leading a floor team.
• Hands-on experience shipping to Amazon FBA (US) and handling export documentation.
• Working knowledge of an ERP or inventory system (Tally, Zoho Inventory, Unicommerce, SAP or similar) and Excel/Google Sheets.
• Comfortable in Hindi and English, written and spoken.
• Experience in home décor, textiles, handicrafts or other fragile/bulky goods.
• Familiarity with Shopify order fulfilment and US 3PLs (e.g. ShipBob, ShipMonk).
• Knowledge of Incoterms (FOB, CIF, DDP), HS codes and US Customs basics.
• Detail-oriented, calm under deadline pressure, strong team leader, problem solver.
