Role Description The Mechanical Designer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kakinada. This role involves developing and refining mechanical designs for fitness, sports, and surgical products, including creating detailed technical drawings and 3D models. The Mechanical Designer will collaborate with product, operations, and procurement teams to translate functional requirements into manufacturable designs. Daily tasks include using CAD tools, performing basic mechanical calculations, supporting research and development activities, and reviewing prototypes or samples for design improvements.



The role also requires maintaining design documentation, adhering to safety and quality standards, and coordinating with vendors or manufacturers when needed. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess skills in Technical Drawing and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for creating precise 2D and 3D mechanical models.
• Candidates should possess skills in Machine Design and Mechanical Engineering to develop safe, reliable, and productive product designs.
• Candidates should possess skills in Research and Development (R&D;) to evaluate new concepts, materials, and design improvements.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience with common CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively in office, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple design tasks.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and basic knowledge of materials used in fitness, sports, or medical/surgical products is an advantage.
