Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Production Head / Production Manager to lead and manage end-to-end manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, shop-floor management, resource optimization, quality, productivity, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership experience and a proven track record in manufacturing, automation, SPM, or engineering industries.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the complete production function, including planning, scheduling, execution, and delivery.
• Achieve production targets while maintaining required quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
• Plan and optimize the utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and production resources.
• Monitor daily production activities and ensure smooth shop-floor operations.
• Track and improve key production KPIs such as OEE, productivity, downtime, rejection, rework, and efficiency.
• Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance to minimize machine downtime.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, work instructions, SOPs, and production processes.
• Collaborate with Quality, Design, Purchase, Stores, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams for smooth production operations.
• Manage, motivate, train, and develop production teams to improve productivity and skill levels.




• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Prepare and present production reports, KPI dashboards, and performance updates to senior management.
• Drive timely completion of projects and customer orders as per committed schedules. Required Skills & Qualifications
• B.
E. / B.
Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in manufacturing/engineering production.
• Strong experience in shop-floor management and production planning.
• Proven experience managing production teams and achieving production targets.
• Valuable knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement.
• Strong understanding of OEE, productivity, downtime, rejection, and production KPIs.
• Experience with ERP systems and production reporting tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and team-management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple production priorities. Preferred Industry Experience Candidates from the following industries will be preferred:
