Role Description The GST Advisor – Team Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City. This role oversees a team responsible for end-to-end GST advisory, compliance, and filing support for a portfolio of clients, including individuals and businesses. Responsibilities include reviewing and supervising GST returns, ensuring timely and accurate filings, resolving complex GST queries, and monitoring changes in GST laws and regulations. The Team Lead will guide team members on technical issues, review work quality, allocate assignments, and ensure adherence to internal processes and compliance standards.



The role also involves collaborating with internal tech and operations teams to improve workflows, managing client communication and escalation, and contributing to knowledge-building and training initiatives. Qualifications
• Solid GST domain knowledge, including GST law, rules, notifications, and practical application in advisory and compliance.
• Experience in GST return preparation and review (e.g., GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns), reconciliations, and handling notices or assessments.
• Proven team leadership skills, including task allocation, performance oversight, mentoring, and coaching for junior advisors.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities for interpreting complex tax scenarios and providing practical solutions.
• Effective communication and client management skills, with the ability to explain GST concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Comfort with technology-driven workflows, tax software, and MS Excel; experience in a FinTech or consulting environment is an advantage.
• Relevant professional qualification such as CA, CMA, CS, MBA (Finance), or a graduate/postgraduate degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, compliance-focused environment with high attention to detail and ethical standards.
