Role Description The Accounts Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai, requiring immediate joining. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, including posting invoices, maintaining ledgers, reconciling accounts, and handling petty cash transactions. The Accounts Assistant will support credit control functions by monitoring outstanding payments, following up with clients, and updating records in a timely manner. Responsibilities also include assisting with basic finance tasks, preparing routine reports, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring that all documentation is accurate and compliant with company policies.



The role calls for a detail-oriented professional who can work with established processes while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced logistics environment. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong accounting and finance skills, including experience with bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and basic financial reporting.
• Candidates should possess practical experience in credit control, with the ability to track receivables and support collection activities.
• Candidates should possess the ability to manage petty cash, including recording disbursements, maintaining vouchers, and reconciling balances.
• Candidates should possess effective communication skills to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams, both verbally and in writing.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field are preferred.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, strong attention to detail, and good organizational and time-management skills are beneficial.
• Prior experience in logistics or freight forwarding accounts is an advantage, along with the ability to work on-site and join immediately.
