Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteer is a part time position based in Coimbatore with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site presence with some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves recruiting, onboarding, and coordinating volunteers for various programs and initiatives, ensuring that volunteer activities align with organizational goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include scheduling and tracking volunteer hours, maintaining up-to-date records, and supporting volunteers with clear guidance, resources, and timely communication. The coordinator will collaborate with internal teams to identify volunteer needs, prepare briefings and materials, and help organize events or community outreach activities. The role also includes monitoring volunteer feedback, supporting continuous improvement of volunteer processes, and preparing regular reports on volunteer engagement and impact. Qualifications
• Ability to coordinate multiple volunteer activities, manage schedules, and maintain accurate documentation and records.




• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage, motivate, and support volunteers from diverse backgrounds.
• Organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure smooth operations in a hybrid work setting.
• Basic proficiency with office productivity tools, online collaboration platforms, and volunteer management systems or databases.
• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability, accountability, and sound judgment.
• Experience in community service, nonprofit work, or volunteer management is preferred but not required.
• Comfort working in a multicultural environment and engaging with local communities in and around Coimbatore.
• Relevant post-secondary education (e.g., in social work, management, communications, or a related field) or equivalent practical experience.
