Role Description The Higher Ed Admission Counselor is a full-time remote role responsible for guiding prospective learners through the admission process for Skillofy_AI programs. Day-to-day activities include responding to inquiries from potential applicants, explaining program offerings and learning pathways, and assessing candidate fit based on academic background, career goals, and skills. The counselor will conduct consultation calls, provide transparent information on curriculum, timelines, fees, and outcomes, and help candidates complete application and enrollment steps. This role also involves maintaining accurate records in CRM systems,



following up with leads, collaborating with academic and marketing teams to improve admissions processes, and delivering a positive, inclusive experience for all applicants. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and Communication skills to engage effectively with diverse learners and stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to provide responsive, empathetic, and solution-oriented support throughout the admissions journey.
• Candidates should possess Results-driven Sales skills to manage inquiries, nurture leads, and convert qualified prospects into enrolled learners ethically and transparently.
• Candidates should possess a background or demonstrable interest in Education, higher ed counseling, or edtech, with the ability to explain learning pathways and career outcomes clearly.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include experience with admissions or counseling in higher education or edtech, familiarity with CRM or lead management tools, strong organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
• A bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience, is preferred.
