About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Illustrator to join our design team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of fashion illustration, garment detailing, silhouettes, colour combinations, and design presentation, with the ability to translate creative concepts into visually compelling illustrations. The candidate will collaborate closely with the design team to develop illustrations that reflect the brand's aesthetic and design vision, particularly in luxury ethnic wear, couture, and contemporary Indian fashion.

Key Responsibilities
• Create detailed fashion illustrations, including garment silhouettes, styling concepts, and design variations.
• Develop hand-drawn and digital fashion illustrations based on design briefs and creative direction.
• Illustrate intricate garment details, including embroidery, embellishments, prints, textures, and surface ornamentation.
• Prepare detailed front and back garment illustrations to communicate design concepts accurately.
• Collaborate with fashion designers and the design team to translate creative ideas into visual representations.
• Develop colour stories, mood boards, concept boards, and visual presentations for collections.
• Incorporate feedback from the design team and make revisions within agreed timelines.
• Maintain consistency with the brand's design language, aesthetics, and collection requirements.
• Assist in creating design presentations for internal reviews and collection development.
• Maintain an organised portfolio of illustrations and design references. Required Skills and Qualifications
• A degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Fashion Illustration, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong skills in fashion illustration, garment rendering, and proportion.




• Good understanding of garment construction, silhouettes, fabrics, textures, and embellishments.
• Ability to illustrate intricate embroidery, surface detailing, and luxury ethnic wear.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; experience with other digital illustration tools is an advantage.
• Strong colour sense, creativity, attention to detail, and visual storytelling skills.
• Ability to understand design briefs and translate concepts into illustrations.
• Solid communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with designers.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Preferred Experience
• Experience working with luxury fashion, couture, bridal wear, ethnic wear, or designer labels.
• Familiarity with Indian textiles, embroidery techniques, embellishments, and traditional craftsmanship.
• Experience preparing fashion illustrations for designer collections and presentation boards. Portfolio Requirements Candidates must submit a portfolio showcasing:
• Digital fashion illustrations.
• Garment silhouettes and detailed garment rendering.
• Colouring techniques, fabric textures, and embellishment detailing.
• Ethnic wear, couture, bridal wear, or contemporary fashion illustrations, wherever applicable.
• Relevant academic or professional design projects. Selection Process
• Initial screening of CV and portfolio.
• Shortlisting based on illustration skills and relevance to the brand.
• Completion of a design assignment, (required).
• Final discussion with the design team and management.
